Call for presentations

At the Alpine Verification Meeting, there is no formal review process; it is an informal meeting to exchange research ideas, for technology transfer, and for project collaboration. There will be five talks by senior researchers, but most talks will be given by Ph.D. students and post-docs. The selection of the talks for presentation is based on nomination by supervisor. There will be no formal proceedings of the workshop. (We will collect the presentation slides to put them on the web for everybody to share, if the speakers agree.)

The procedure is as follows: If you want to give a talk at AVM, ask your supervisor to nominate you for a talk at AVM (together with a title and an abstract) by e-mail to the organizer and chances are good that you get a slot. Every supervisor can nominate students or post-docs for presentation. The nomination has to be done before 1st of June.
